As a non-bank lender, our mission is to underwrite and manage commercial mortgage investments that deliver fair, appropriate solutions to our borrowers and first-class asset management to our investors.

Our solid underwriting strategies are based on our in-depth knowledge of real estate values, prudent lending practices, and regular monitoring of each loan’s performance.

Each Cameron Stephens deal is subject to rigorous analysis that includes independent property inspections and appraisals; cost consultancy; environmental, legal and insurance counsel; and a clearly-defined exit strategy.


CURRENT PORTFOLIO IS APPROACHING $400 MILLION
40% of this portfolio is invested in private or mezzanine debt. Interest rates range from Prime+1% to 15%. The other 60% is invested with institutional investors at conventional spreads over Bank Prime or Canada Bonds.

Over $400 million has been repaid to investors since 2004.
